The UK Paid Media Awards recognise, celebrate, and reward the contribution that paid media makes to shaping the future of advertising sales and media planning and to the overall success and profits of businesses.

LOCALiQ is nominated for three Award categories including:

  • Local Campaign of the Year
  • Best Use of Automation
  • The Innovation Award

In each sector-based category, UK Paid Media Award judges examine the thinking, approach and implementation of paid digital advertising campaigns that achieve business goals and outstanding results, whether that is through technical innovation, strategic use of data or creative use of content across media platforms.

In the Innovation Award category LOCALiQ is nominated for its Cross Media Optimisation (XMO) technology. The innovative XMO technology liberates business owners and marketing managers. They no longer need to spend time analysing where they should allocate their marketing budget or comparing goal and conversion metrics across platforms to generate the best return.

“We’re proud to offer our clients access to cutting-edge marketing technology, and cross media optimisation is another huge step forward,” said LOCALiQ UK Managing Director, Nick Ashwood. “This product is completely new in the digital landscape, and we’re incredibly excited about the results it is generating for our clients in terms of efficiency and performance. Over the last two years the pandemic has continuously shifted how people consume online media. Cross media optimisation is agile enough to adjust budgets and spend where the results are going to be delivered.”

Cross media optimisation’s innovative technology is the first of its kind in the UK. It uses data-driven algorithms to adjust digital marketing budgets across the four main digital ad platforms (Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Instagram) to yield the best outcome based on a client’s goals.

Using the same Cross Media Optimisation (XMO) technology, LOCALiQ is nominated in in the category of Best Use of Automation, for the incredible results and innovative use of XMO to deliver success for Sidey.

Sidey is Scotland’s premier supplier of windows, doors, sunrooms and conservatories and relies on LOCALiQ UK’s services for search and social marketing campaigns focused brand awareness and lead generation.

While we have been working with LOCALiQ across our digital marketing for some time now, we’ve seen a significant improvement in results since using cross media optimisation, our leads from search marketing have increased by 34%, and by 115% from social media marketing,” says Haylee Lilley, Retail Manager, Sidey.

In the Local Campaign of the Year category, LOCALiQ is nominated for its work with Diverse Care.

Foster Parents are the key professional in helping improve the lives of Looked After Children in their care. While the work of fostering is the same anywhere Diverse Care’s approach to fostering is different from most other organisations in the UK. Diverse Care partnered with LOCALiQ to implement a multi-platform digital advertising campaign with the objective of generating leads (identifying prospective Foster Parents) and increasing awareness about the difference in their approach to connect children and families.

The national breakdown rate for children in foster care is about 50%, Diverse Care families manage to succeed with their children a startling 94% of the time. Leveraging LOCALiQ’s agency-level service and innovative digital advertising technology, the organisation received more than 200 direct enquiries of families showing interest in fostering within one 30-day period, alone. “This campaign demonstrates how a local business and a local digital marketing agency can work together to achieve life changing impact for the people in the community, and ultimately the world,” says Brandon Griffin, Head of B2B Marketing, LOCALiQ.

The 2022 UK Paid Media Awards will be presented at a gala dinner and awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 19th April.
