The Agenda
Expect a full day of expert-led sessions, practical insights, and forward-thinking discussions covering the strategies, trends, and challenges shaping the paid media landscape.
From hands-on takeaways to big-picture thinking, the programme is designed to inspire, inform, and equip you with ideas you can put into action straight away.
Session 1
In uncertain conditions, experimentation becomes a growth advantage. Joe explores how structured testing improves customer experience and conversion.
This talk explores how to make B2B advertising memorable in a world where most ads are instantly forgotten. It opens by challenging marketers to consider whether their campaigns truly leave a lasting impact. In B2B, long sales cycles make brand recall critical, yet many campaigns focus too narrowly on short-term direct response metrics.
The talk highlights the power of storytelling and emotion even in B2B to create standout creative that resonates and gets shared internally among prospects. It emphasises consistency across search, social, display, and remarketing to build familiarity and trust through repeated, aligned messaging. Effective remarketing and sequenced messaging are positioned as key to nurturing engagement over time.
Finally, it encourages measuring “stickiness” beyond clicks, using engagement metrics, view-through conversions, and branded search lift. The core takeaway: tell compelling stories, stay consistent, and measure what truly builds lasting brand impact.
Session 2
Hear a direct, no nonsense view of ‘The State of Digital’ and why paid media will never operate the way it once did. Signal loss, platform automation, AI-driven bidding and algorithmic targeting have fundamentally shifted control away from manual optimisation and into machine led systems. The competitive advantage is no longer in campaign structure tweaks, it’s in data integrity, creative velocity and strategic guidance.
This session will cut through the hype around AI and focus on what is materially driving performance today. I’ll outline how AI is reshaping audience development, measurement, creative production and budget allocation – and where human strategy still creates disproportionate impact. You’ll leave with a clear operating model for winning in an AI-dominant ecosystem and a pragmatic framework for building scalable, durable growth in modern paid media.
In 2025, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) went from a buzzword to a boardroom priority. With 50% of traffic projected to be in the LLMs by 2028, you can understand why. For those of us who lived through the early explosion of SEO, this movie feels familiar—yet the ending has changed. We aren’t just optimising for keywords anymore; we’re optimising for intent, trust, and agency.
Join Sal Mohammed, CEO of LangSync and former Google Tech Partnerships Lead, for a high-velocity breakdown of the transition from traditional search to the agentic future. Drawing on his deep background in the search ecosystem and current work at the frontier of AI synchronisation, Sal will review the key breakthroughs of 2025 and cast predictions of where search as a whole may be heading in 2026.
He’ll discuss emerging trends and protocols, such as agentic browsing and new form factors and players, as search becomes increasingly dispersed. Sal will provide a solid view of how future AI will shift search and, in turn, business models, whilst also gaining practical frameworks to deploy across your organisation.
Session 3
Most teams don’t lose accounts because they lack technical skill. They lose them because standards slip. In this talk, Charley will break down three behaviours that inevitably cost performance teams work: abandoning hygiene when under pressure, never stepping back from constant firefighting, and failing to hold themselves or their teams to a higher commercial standard. Using real-world examples from agency and in-house environments, I’ll show how small behaviours compound into commercial risk — and what you can do immediately to protect trust, protect revenue, and protect your reputation. Practical, honest and potentially slightly uncomfortable.
