We’re thrilled to announce that the Glass Digital Paid Search team has been shortlisted for the Shopping Ads Campaign of the Year at the UK Paid Media Awards 2022.

Formerly known as the UK Biddable Media Awards, this annual event aims to recognise, celebrate, and reward the contribution that paid media can make to the overall success and profits of businesses.

Our campaign for Denby Pottery saw our Paid Search team drive an astonishing £425,000 (+78%) in revenue from Shopping Ads for our client. Our team also used creative tactics to reduce Denby’s reliance on branded terms and generate a fresh audience of users earlier in their shopping journey.

Now, these great results have caught the attention of the judging panel at the UK Paid Media Awards. When considering applications, the judges were looking for creative tactics, effective implementation, and tangible and demonstrable results. For the Shopping Ads Campaign of the Year, the judges were looking for campaigns that had a proven record of driving traffic to purchase and checkout.

The nomination is a testament to the hard work, knowledge, and creativity of our Paid Search team: Jess, Joe, Josh, Chris, and Rowan.

It’s not the first time our PPC staff have been recognised in this way, either. Back in June 2021, they won PPC Campaign of the Year (B2B) at the UK Digital Growth Awards, too.

Paid media can be a competitive field, and the calibre of the other nominees this year has been seriously impressive, including major agencies and well-known brands. In fact, the standard of entries in this category was so high this year that the judging panel has decided to award both a silver and gold award.

Jessica Freer, Head of Paid Search, said: “We’re over the moon to be nominated for a UK Paid Media Award. Seeing your work make a real difference to your client is always rewarding, but being recognised by your peers in the industry like this makes it even more special. Plus, considering the impressively high calibre of the other entries this year, it’s a real compliment to even make the shortlist.”

The winner will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony in London on 19 April. A huge congratulations to everyone who worked on this campaign — we’ll be crossing our fingers for you on the night!
